Telehealth at Emory Healthcare

Emory Connected Care

Emory Connected Care is Emory Healthcare’s telehealth service. It is a convenient and secure way to speak with your doctor and receive care via a video call from home.

All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet access, a camera and a microphone for video and audio communication.

Available Telehealth Services

Our doctors can diagnose, manage and treat many conditions over video. Some of these include:

  • Acute illnesses (colds, sinus infections, etc.)
  • Chronic condition follow-up
  • Mild musculoskeletal injuries (low back pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, etc.)
  • Prescription refills
  • Specialty care management, such as:
    • Brain health
    • Oncology
    • Transplant
    • Women’s health

We also offer urgent care virtual visits for existing Emory Healthcare patients. Here is how it works:

  • Call 404-778-7777 to see if your symptoms qualify you for virtual urgent care.
  • If you are eligible, you can get a same-day telehealth appointment.
  • Your appointment will be with an emergency medicine doctor.

What To Expect During Your Visit

Connected CareTelehealth appointments are like in-person appointments. You may first meet with your doctor’s support staff. That can be a registered nurse or certified nursing assistant.

In most cases, you will meet with your doctor. You can discuss the reason for your visit and ask questions.

Log into MyChart and eCheck-in 15 minutes before your appointment.
