Financial Assistance

Your Partner in Affordable Healthcare

At Emory Healthcare, we know it can be challenging to manage healthcare expenses. As Georgia’s leading health care provider, we’re committed to making medical services as affordable as possible.

We offer financial assistance and community services that improve access to care. Our goal is to help you with the cost of your care and reduce the impact on government and community resources.

Receiving Financial Assistance

At Emory Healthcare, we provide financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured patients. We help with emergency care or other medically necessary services.

To determine which patients qualify for assistance, we rely on the U.S. Federal Poverty Guidelines. We offer financial help to uninsured patients who earn up to 225% of the federal poverty level and underinsured patients who earn up to 125% of the federal poverty level. According to the 2024 guidelines, the poverty level for a single patient is $15,060 in annual income. The poverty level for a family of four is $31,200 in yearly income.
