Emory Healthcare partners with select Centers of Excellence programs to offer specialized care for certain procedures. These programs may offer enhanced benefits or support services depending on your health plan. Accepted Behavioral Health Networks

Emory Healthcare partners with select standalone behavioral health networks to support patients in accessing mental health and substance use services. These networks are accepted in addition to the medical insurance plans listed elsewhere on our website. In some cases, your behavioral health benefits may be managed separately from your medical plan.

Coverage, referral, and authorization requirements may vary by plan. For more information, please contact your insurance provider using the Member Services number on the back of your insurance card.

Additional Insurance Plan Participation Information

Here are additional details about some of the approved insurance plans listed above:

(a) For Cigna Plans: All of Emory Healthcare participates with most Cigna Health Plans including Cigna + Oscar Open Access plans. However, for the following plans, Cigna LocalPlus, Cigna Connect, and Cigna + Oscar LocalPlus, Emory Healthcare only participates in Behavioral Health services and services provided by EMCF at Grady Hospital and at Grady outpatient clinics.

(b) For Kaiser Permanente Plans: Referral and authorization provisions apply. Contact your primary care provider’s office or the member services phone number printed on the back of your insurance card for more information.

(c) For United Healthcare Narrow Network Plans and Tiered Network Plans: There are select counties where Emory is the Top-Tiered Provider. Please contact your primary care physician’s office or member services phone number located on the back of your insurance card for more information.

(d) For Aetna CVS Plans: Emory Healthcare is only in-network for Georgia members. All non-Georgia members from other states are considered out-of-network. Please note: This plan is scheduled to be discontinued and will no longer be offered by Aetna in 2026.

(e) For United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plans: Emory Healthcare participates with all plan types except for the following: Private Fee-For-Service Benefit Plans and Medicare Advantage Medical Savings Account Benefit Plans.
