Four Magnet®-designations Speak Volumes

With four Magnet®-designated hospitals in our health care system and others on the Magnet® Journey, we all get to experience the benefits that come with a culture of nursing excellence, discovery, and innovation.

In 2020, Emory Johns Creek Hospital (EJCH) achieved Magnet® recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a reflection of its nursing professionalism, teamwork, and superior inpatient care.

With EJCH's achievement, Emory Healthcare is the only health system in Georgia with four Magnet-designated hospitals. Emory University Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital (EUOSH) received its second Magnet designation in 2021. Emory University Hospital received its second designation in 2018.

Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital has been recognized as a Magnet hospital since 1995 and earned its sixth straight Magnet designation in 2019 making it the first community hospital in the world to earn six consecutive designations.

Where Teamwork & Collaboration is Critical

Emory Healthcare offers many unique work environments, including 250 locations throughout Georgia and 11 exceptional hospitals—four Magnet®-designated—each embodying a special character, a thoughtfully preserved unique culture, and a deep commitment to innovation.
