Meet the Team Who Takes Care of Your Team

In early 2025, Atlanta United named Emory Healthcare as its Official Team Healthcare Provider. The decision to partner with Emory underscores United’s confidence in Emory's expertise, state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive range of services, ensuring that the team's health is in the most capable hands. At the core are the team of experts who serve as the team physicians for Atlanta Untied. Leading the way is Emory's Amadeus Mason, MD chief medical officer for United, who oversees the program’s medical direction.

He’s joined by two other Emory physicians -- Oluseun Olufade, MD United head team physician, who focuses on injury prevention, diagnosis and athlete wellness, and Edwards Jackson, MD United head team orthopaedist, who provides both surgical and non-surgical care to help players recover and thrive.

Emory Healthcare Named Founding Partner of AMB Sports and Entertainment

On February 14 AMB Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE) proudly announced Emory Healthcare as its newest Founding Partner, solidifying a long-standing relationship that continues to enhance the health and wellness of the Atlanta community.

As part of this milestone, Emory Healthcare will also serve as the Official Team Healthcare Provider for Atlanta United and debuted as the Kit Patch Partner for the club during the 2025 season.

Kicking Off the Partnership with Purpose

On Thursday, February 20 Atlanta United kicked off March to Soccer Week, by joining forces with Emory Healthcare to celebrate the start of the season and their new partnership. As part of the festivities, Atlanta United-branded vending machines appeared at surprise locations across the city—including one of Emory Healthcare’s hospitals—where staff were treated to free team merchandise.

This community-focused activation brought moments of surprise and delight to both patients and healthcare workers, highlighting the shared spirit of unity and support at the heart of this new collaboration.
