Our Neuromodulation Clinic helps treat some of the most pervasive and hard-to-treat mental illnesses. The clinic provides inpatient and outpatient services that include Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), and off-label medication administration and other neuromodulation therapies as appropriate.
The Neuromodulation Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
- ECT is a highly effective and fast-acting treatment for symptoms of certain mental illnesses.
- Modern ECT is performed under general anesthesia. Small electric currents are passed through the brain to intentionally trigger a brief seizure
- Our ECT program uses a procedures that minimizes side effects on memory or thinking during the course of treatment.
- ECT is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday and is often provided on an outpatient basis.
Treatment-Resistant Depression Therapies
After an in-depth psychiatric consultation, patients may receive recommendations around medications, talk therapy, and other neuromodulation options.
