On behalf of our staff, leaders, and physicians, welcome to Emory Healthcare! We know that in whatever capacity you serve, you have an important role in contributing to our core purpose: Improving Lives & Providing Hope.
Our exceptional care and concern for our patients has been a tradition in Atlanta for more than 100 years. We are excited to welcome you as a dedicated professional that makes Emory Healthcare such a wonderful environment for our patients, families, and each member of Team EHC.
As outlined in your offer letter communication, there are several key steps you will need to take prior to your start at Emory Healthcare.
Our background check vendor will typically request information on your education and employment history to complete a background check, which is a requirement for hire.
You will need to schedule a Health Assessment in the days leading up to your start. Emory prides itself on continuing to be nicotine and drug-free. Your health assessment is completed at Employee Health, and there are several convenient locations available for testing.
You will be asked to bring the following items during your appointment:
- Completed Health Assessment Questionnaire
- Immunization records
- PPD/TB skin test records, if within the last year.
- Documents (originals) to complete federal Form I-9.
- Security Services will help with your employee ID badge photo and parking assignment (if applicable) after the health assessment.
Review Your Benefits
At Emory Healthcare, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package. Most benefits will begin on your first day of employment with Emory Healthcare, and you will have 31 days to complete your benefits enrollment.
