Our caring and experienced team at the Birth Place at Emory Johns Creek Hospital is here to guide you throughout your journey: from preconception support to prenatal care; from cheering you on during your labor and delivery to making sure you have the resources you need to care for your little one at home.

We’re here to support you and baby and ensure you have a happy, healthy and safe pregnancy, labor and delivery. We’ll connect you with the resources you want, whether that’s a birthing coach, a midwife, a specially trained doula or a natural childbirth. Comprehensive Care for Your Peace of Mind

At the Birth Place, you’ll be able to take advantage of our high-touch and high-tech care for you and baby. We deliver personalized care that’s tailored to your wants and needs, and we do it all backed by the latest advances in maternal medicine and technology. This includes:

  • Maternal-fetal specialists to guide you through a high-risk pregnancy
  • A level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) should your baby need extra care and attention
  • A certified lactation consultant to support you on your breastfeeding journey
  • Personalized care devoted to helping you experience the birth plan you intended—and a commitment to keeping you and baby healthy and safe

Personal, Pampered Attention During Labor, Delivery and Recovery

Our large, comfortable birthing suites at Emory Johns Creek Hospital were designed with mom in mind. We’ve worked to create a space where you feel comfortable, safe and calm during your labor and delivery.

After delivery, you’ll be moved to one of our Mother-Baby rooms, so you can continue to get to know your little one. All rooms are private and allow your designated visitor to spend the night. (Please note you can only have one designated visitor at this time and the individual must remain the same throughout your stay.) You’ll also find a glider or rocking chair in your room, a bassinet for your baby’s safety and a private bathroom.

Getting Ready to Meet Baby

At Emory Johns Creek Hospital, we’re honored to offer birthing and parenting classes and resources to help you feel more comfortable and confident in welcoming your baby into the world. All of our classes are currently online, including a weekly breastfeeding support class.
