Our volunteers serve in departments around the hospital, including the Thrift Shop, Guest Services, the Emergency Department and nursing units. Our volunteers help create a welcoming environment for all and enhance the patient experience.

We have several types of volunteer programs
Adult Volunteer Program
- Ages 18+
- Offered throughout the year
- Commitment: one year, four hours per week, 100 hours minimum

College Volunteer Program
- Ages 18+
- Offered for the full academic year (September–April); must be enrolled in a higher education institution
- Commitment: four hours per week, 80 hours minimum

Summer Teen VolunTEEN Program
For high school students ages 16–18 (by June 1, 2026)
This summer volunteer program offers teens the opportunity to support hospital and clinic departments while learning about healthcare careers.
Program Highlights
- Serve one consistent shift per week (Monday–Thursday) in the same department
- Volunteer role—not shadowing or an internship
- Tasks may include:
- Organizing clinical supplies
- Delivering meal trays
- Assisting with department needs

June 1 – July 24, 2026
(Volunteering not required the week of June 29 – July 3)
Application Timeline:
