A franchised Starbucks is also located on Level 1 (lobby level) of Winship at Emory Midtown.

The gift shop is in the Peachtree lobby (near the hospital’s Linden Avenue entrance). It has a variety of items, including nightgowns, robes, slippers, candy, flowers and gifts.

Hours

Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

After hours, you can shop online for gifts, flowers and balloons. Our gift shop staff delivers items to patients’ rooms or the nurse’s station.

Profits from our gift shop provide funds for medical equipment and services here at Emory University Hospital Midtown. To contact the gift shop, call 404-686-2557.

Flowers and Mail Delivery

Florists can deliver flowers to most patient rooms. (Please note that patients in the ICUs, transplant and oncology units are not able to accept flowers due to the need to minimize risk of infection). We are unable to accommodate package deliveries but are happy to deliver paper mail each day. Please address mail this way:

Telephone and Internet Services

Each patient has a bedside telephone. Local calls are free.

We offer free wireless internet access for hospital guests. To connect:

• Open your web browser. You should see the Emory Healthcare Guest Access welcome page. Otherwise, select “EHC Guest” from the list of available wireless networks. Click on “Terms of Use.”
• Read the terms and conditions and click “I agree.” Provide your e-mail address at the prompt and click “Login.” Your e-mail address will not be shared.
• You will see the emoryhealthcare.org home page. You now have wireless Internet access.

Safety

We’re committed to making the hospital a safe environment. Please follow our health and safety guidelines.

• Fire safety: We conduct regular fire drills for our staff. If you hear a fire alarm, stay in your room. Staff will continue to care for you during this time.
• Security: Uniformed security officers are in the hospital. If you’re concerned about your personal safety, talk to your nurse or any hospital staff member.
