Emory Healthcare’s Operations Development Program will provide participants with a range of experiences focused on enhancing the efficiency of Emory business operations during an 18-month period. This program is designed to build a participant’s business knowledge of operations in an academic faculty practice.
Emory Healthcare’s Operations Development Program will provide participants with a range of experiences within Patient Financial Services and Patient Access focused on enhancing the efficiency of Emory business operations during an 18-month period. This program is designed to build a participant’s business knowledge of operations in an academic faculty practice.
Placement Process: Participants are placed in full-time roles according to their interests and organizational need. The Office of Development Programs works closely with ODP participants and leaders to ensure mutually agreeable and beneficial matches.

Progression: Participants work toward mastering a set of core competencies. Advancement and graduation is based on Rater Reliability Sessions where ODP leaders, sponsors, management, and Emory Clinic executives discuss each participant's performance and provide feedback. Participants must demonstrate mastery of competencies in each area to advance.
Emerging Leader Network Group: Monthly sessions featuring future and current leaders from within Emory or outside the organization to discuss issues relevant to the healthcare industry or relevant to participants growth as a leader.
Quarterly Report Out: Each quarter, participants will present to all leaders and sponsors and give a detailed overview of their progression towards mastering competencies, professional development, and a brief summary of current role in the organization.
Sponsorship: Sponsors in the Operations Development Program are a member of leadership at Emory who will work with participants and their leader on personal and professional development, as well as being responsible for supporting participants career growth.
