Associates Degree at Georgia State University - Perimeter College

Earn an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology through a Georgia State University-Perimeter College program offered in collaboration with Emory Decatur Hospital School of Radiologic Technology.

GSU-Perimeter College offers general education courses and Emory Decatur Hospital offers clinical courses for the associate degree. Students who earn an AS Degree in Radiologic Technology will be eligible to sit for the national American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam. Upon passing the exam, graduates will become registered radiologic technologists (radiographers) R.T.(R).

Note: The Radiography pathway at Georgia State University at Perimeter College is no longer accepting students in this pathway as of January 1, 2022.

Georgia State University-Perimeter College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and bachelor’s degrees. The Emory Decatur Hospital School of Radiologic Technology is not accredited by the Commission on Colleges and the accreditation of Georgia State University-Perimeter College does not extend to or include the Emory Decatur Hospital School of Radiologic Technology or its students. Although Georgia State University-Perimeter College accepts certain coursework in transfer toward a credential from the Emory Decatur Hospital School of Radiologic Technology or collaborates in other ways for the generation of course credits or program credentials, other colleges and universities may or may not accept this work in transfer, even if it appears on a transcript from Georgia State University-Perimeter College. This decision is made by the institution subsequently considering the possibility of accepting such credits.
