Diagnosing Neuro-Ophthalmic Conditions

Our neuro-ophthalmologists provide a comprehensive evaluation for your neuro-ophthalmic problems. This starts with a detailed review of your medical records, including any brain scans (CT or MRI) you might have had in the past.

During the visit, we will perform a complete examination. Please expect to have your pupils dilated. We might identify the need for additional tests which will be ordered during the visit. The neuro-ophthalmologist will then spend time privately to discuss treatment options and address your questions or concerns.

These visits may take up to four hours.

Our neuro-ophthalmology team offers multidisciplinary care for patients with complex neurological diseases. We will work with your neurologist, neurosurgeon, oncologist, ophthalmologist or low vision services in developing therapy plans for conditions that threaten vision.
