Our clinicians and staff have developed innovative approaches to diagnose, manage, and treat many types of illnesses, injuries, and conditions over video. Find answers for many types of appointments, including:

  • Acute illnesses (colds, sinus infections, etc.)
  • Chronic condition follow-up
  • Mild musculoskeletal injuries
  • Prescription refills
  • Specialty care management, such as:
    • Women’s Health
    • Oncology
    • Transplant
    • Brain Health
    • Many Others

We also offer urgent care virtual visits for existing Emory Healthcare patients. Call 404-778-7777 to see if your symptoms qualify you for a same-day telehealth visit with one of Emory’s emergency medicine providers.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Telehealth appointments are similar to in-person appointments. Depending on the reason for your visit, you may first meet with your provider’s support staff, such as a registered nurse or certified nursing assistant. In most cases you will meet directly with your provider to discuss the reason for your visit.

It is important to log into MyChart and eCheck-in, at minimum, 15 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure timely and efficient care. Together, we'll make a plan for your continued good health.
