On November 14, 2023, Emory Healthcare launched a new prescription management tool for our patients. This resource can help you learn about new prescriptions and access coupons and savings.
Here’s how it works:
- After your provider submits a new prescription to your pharmacy by e-prescribing, you will receive a text message with your prescribing provider’s name and a secure link to www.rxinform.org.
- You'll be prompted to verify your identity by entering your date of birth when you tap the link in the text message.
- Once you verify your identity, you will see information about your selected pharmacy location, your prescription and the option to call your pharmacy directly. You can tap or click to learn more about your prescriptions, including instructions, side effects, and cautions.
This tool is secure and uses strong encryption to protect all personal communication. It handles personal health information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable federal and state laws.
